Scopely is looking for a highly motivated Animation Lead to join our Marketing team Flamed in the Barcelona Office on a Hybrid basis (three days in the office)! What you will do If you are an experienced 3D animator with strong storytelling, direction and leadership skills, and the ability to guide an animated project from early pre-production through final animation, this position is for you! We are looking for someone who can think beyond individual shots and take responsibility for the overall quality of a piece: ensuring that the story is clear, the storyboard and animatic communicate effectively, the layout has strong composition and timing, and the animation delivers appealing and engaging performances. You will directly supervise Storyboard Artists and Animators, providing creative direction, feedback and support throughout production.

What You Will Do This role requires someone comfortable working at a fast production pace, combining AI-assisted workflows, strong layout skills, polished image execution, and medium-level video editing capabilities. You will join our Arts & Animation Pod in Barcelona to create high-quality creative assets for some of the top mobile games in the world, including UA ads, ASO/store assets, social media content, key visuals, video templates, storyboards, and performance-driven iterations. Produce high-quality static and video marketing assets from briefs, benchmarks, and creative direction. Develop video templates, key frames, simple edits, storyboards, and performance variations for short-form marketing content.

What You Will Do Oversee Production: Collaborate intensely with the General Manager and game leadership team to achieve strategic development goals, converting high-level objectives into precise operational roadmaps and actionable execution plans with internal team and external studio partners Production Rigor: Drive daily team performance and maintain rigorous alignment with development partners to uphold milestones, key results, and excellence; demonstrate a hands-on approach by managing core EP duties like budget and scheduling while also facilitating essential team functions such as standups and documentation. Manage costs and budgets along the way and optimize for ROI AI-Driven Operational Excellence & Innovation: Champion the end-to-end integration of AI into development pipelines and cross-functional team workflows to drive product innovation, significantly reduce operational cost

What You’ll Do: This role is ideal for an artist passionate about leveraging AI to enhance creativity while maintaining high-quality, hand-crafted aesthetics. You will work closely with Artists and Tech Artists to explore, iterate, and refine visual styles while leveraging AI-powered tools.
