Role overview
At ClickUp, we're building the future of work: the first truly converged AI workspace unifying tasks, docs, chat, calendar, and enterprise search, all supercharged by context-driven AI. We are an AI-native company.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end video production from business goal to polished final cut: AI generation, compositing, motion graphics, sound design, color grading, and finishing.
- Tell stories through video. Every piece has narrative structure, intentional pacing, and a clear arc. Write your own scripts and storyboards. Understand how music, silence, and timing serve the narrative.
- Produce high-volume short-form and long-form content using AI video gen models combined with traditional finishing. Same-day or next-day turnaround with social, PMM, and brand teams.
- Build and document repeatable AI video workflows that increase output velocity without sacrificing quality, and that the broader team can leverage.
- Stay on the bleeding edge: evaluate new AI video models within days of release and integrate what works into production pipelines.
What the employer is looking for
- 3-5+ years video editing/production experience. Portfolio required, MUST include AI-generated work that demonstrates exceptional visual taste.
- Advanced, daily proficiency with AI video generation models (Kling, Runway, Veo, Seedance, Pika, etc.). Expert-level prompt engineering: controls style, motion, camera, lighting, and continuity through prompts and parameters.
- Strong scriptwriting and storyboarding ability.
- Obsessive about craft: color grading, pacing, typography, motion graphics, and audio design.
- Proficient in at least one NLE (Premiere, DaVinci, Final Cut) for finishing and compositing.
