What the employer is looking for
- 3+ years editing long-form or YouTube content
- Expert in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut
- Proven retention editing with a portfolio you can show, numbers preferred
- Strong story instincts. You know what to cut and why without a brief for everything
- Understands YouTube as a platform: CTR, AVD, retention graphs, and what they tell you
- Fast and reliable turnaround without quality degradation
- Systems-oriented mindset. You build repeatable processes and templates, not one-offs
- An AI-forward editor who uses AI where it speeds the work
- Bonus: experience with e-commerce, creator, or education content
